yesterday I ate some thing that just blew me away
it was at a restaurant in Oakland called the Brown Sugar Cafe
I ate a pulled pork sandwich that was better in my mouth
than any sandwich I had while I lived in the South
they also served a mashed yams that I really have to say
my wife and I looked at each other wondering why we don't eat there everyday
they were smoked! Smoked yams! Doesn't sound like it works but it works!
Meanwhile we send our prayers to North Alabama my former home afar
they're getting some big storms this week so we hope for no damage or harm.
