last night we watched another documentary
by Ken Burns and it was so very
interesting because it was about Prohibition
when the United States made a bad decision
no alcohol increased crime and gang activity
meanwhile the presidents all showed passivity
finally FDR said he would repeal it though congress did it just before he was put in office
all kinds of stuff about how alcohol has figured in
to everything that we call American...very interesting...plus you get to hear Paul Giamatti!
