Yesterday I took BART from PodCastro Valley to San Francisco and then took the Sausalito ferry from the Embarcadero and then 2 buses to Mill Valley.  All told it was about 2 hours of traveling, but I didn't have to slam on the brakes once and I did see an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the ferry boat.  All in all it was a fun short day of travel and I got to meet some interesting people along the way.  Lots of tourists ride the Sausalito ferry and they're generally pretty nice.  I got half price on the ferry ride since I used my Clipper card which you need to set up for use on the ferry by going online.  I remember it took me a while to set it up, but so far it's been working great.  And that's the Mike Matthews Travel Blog.  Enjoy your day!
